I flew to Vancouver from Edmonton for meetings or trade shows during the 1980s. Parker offered to take me out and about for a change of scenery on one of those trips. Little did I know what I was getting myself into. I’m sure Parker took delight in my shock and awe as we threaded through bars and clubs that I wouldn’t dare enter without his protection. But he delivered me back to my hotel without incident after a night of live music, beer and laughs. I will miss my sweet cousin Parker. He, his sisters, his dad Uncle Alex and mother Aunt Geraldine will always be my west coast favourite memories.
Fondly remembered,
Lois
